Where there were no role models, we created our own

Nowadays, everyone thinks of collagen when they want their skin to firm up.
However, Japan did not have any fundamental collagen-containing skincare products when we developed Cream 20 in 1974.

Still, we widened our vision to explore "what we could do to help people who were struggling with wrinkles and age spots" wholeheartedly, and we discovered collagen, which was exclusively used in the medical industry back then. We were confident that this ingredient could have a positive impact on the skin, and consequently, the first "skincare product not found anywhere else," CREAM20 and Domohorn Wrinkle, were born.

We're advancing skincare through ongoing research and development

We have continued in searching for different raw materials, including collagen, that are of higher quality, safer, and sustainable, even after the introduction of Japan's first collagen-containing skincare product.

Since 1974, when we developed Japan's first collagen-containing product cream20, our approach to raw ingredients has remained unchanged and passed down from generation to generation.
Guided by the principle of harmony between humans and nature, which is embodied in the concept of 'heaven (nature) and mankind being one,' we are committed to using every ingredient with the utmost care and respect. We believe that by harnessing the power of nature, we can create products that become a source of strength and nourishment for people. We believe it is our responsibility to consider not only the location where our raw materials were grown, but also how they were grown, in order to develop products that maximize the potential of raw resources.

Based on how we approached it, we examined with several findings and the most recent research that the raw materials are of high quality for skin. We prioritize the safety and quality of our products by personally visiting production sites to inspect the natural environment, maintaining open communication with our producers, and continuously improving traceability as much as possible. Our unwavering commitment to excellence drives us to provide our customers with excellent, beneficial products, ensuring that each customer experiences the highest level of satisfaction and peace of mind.

Elastic collagen declines with age, while poor-quality, hardened collagen grows, causing wrinkles and sagging skin. To combat this, we have tried to solve skin problems by "giving" the skin high-quality collagen, but the latest research has turned to a "self-generating" approach. In other words, we focus not only on providing high-quality collagen to the skin, but also on enhancing the skin's natural strength and ability to regenerate itself.

To achieve "collagen-producing skin," several factors are taken into account. Every day, we improve our products by researching collagen from a variety of approaches, including strategies for reducing collagen degradation in the skin, ingredients that regenerate and stabilize collagen, as well as ways to promote the collagen produced by the skin.
We're making every effort to find greater collagen. Our research never ends.
