1932 Founded Saishunkan Seiyakusho in Okada-cho, Kumamoto Prefecture.
1959 Incorporated as Saishunkan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. with capital of 1 million yen.
1960 Began sales of herbal medicine “Tsusanto”.
1964 Began sales of herbal medicine “Kyoryoku Someito”.
1974 Developed “Domohorn Wrinkle”, the first cosmetic cream in Japan to be formulated with collagen.
1975 Began sales of a cosmetic product “Domohorn Wrinkle Cream20”, containing 20% collagen.
1982 Appointed Michiko Nishikawa as the Representative Director, President; Fully implemented the Direct Telemarketing System.
1983 Opened a telemarketing center in Kumamoto Prefecture.
1986 Introduced toll-free number service (0120-444-444). *Available only in Japan.
1987 Opened the new Aso Factory in the village of Nishihara, Aso-gun, in Kumamoto Prefecture.
1988 Opened “O-hi-sama” nursery school offering free childcare service to employees.
1989 Increased capital to 100 million yen.
1990 Established Kanpo Koen(Factory) adjacent to the Aso Factory.
1991 Completed the construction of the “Ladies' Residence” (the House of Learning), the first private-sector project in the Kumamoto Artpolis.
1993 Expanded the customer service system to be led by the Customer Satisfaction Center.
2001 Completed the construction of “Saishunkan Hilltop Yakusai Koen”, the new factory designed as a “factory in a forest”, on a 231,000m² property.
2002 Opened the Saishunkan Hilltop (Head office) to the public.
Extended the toll-free service hours to 8:00 – 22:00.
Began year-round shipping service.
2003 Acquired ISO 14001 certification for the environmental management system.
2004 Completed one of the largest solar power generation facilities in Japan at the Saishunkan Hilltop Yakusasi Koen (manufacturing factory) .
Acquired ISO 9001 certification for quality management systems.
Appointed Michiko Nishikawa as the Representative Director, Chairman.
Appointed Masaaki Nishikawa as the Representative Director, President.
2006 Implemented a management system for the protection of personal information, and acquired the use of the “Privacy” mark. Began sales of medicinal bath salt, “Yojyo Yakuto”.
2007 Completed the construction of the new office building “Tsumugi Shokan”, an addition to the Hilltop.
2008 Changed the job title of “Communicator” to “Customer Pleaser”.
2009 Certified as one of the “Kumamoto Solar Park” companies for the promotion of solar energy industry in Kumamoto Prefecture.
2010 Began sales of “UVDress Cream” protects your skin. Opened the antenna shop “Dento Yakubo” in Tokyo office in Takanawa to market traditional medicines across the country.
2011 Domohorn Wrinkle products renewed.
Domohorn Wrinkle Skincare Lounge grand opening in Hong Kong.
2012 In order to ensure the safety of products, we established the Saishunkan Reassurance and Safety Laboratory. We test for residual pesticides or radioactivity internally and specialized institutes.
